Homemade remedies for skin whitening and fairness:


Lemon is the old Asian remedy for lightening skin. Lemon contain citrus acid which is a natural bleaching agent..
You can use lemon in many ways
  1.  Squeeze a lemon in a bowl, and apply it to your face with cotton. Leave it for 20 minutes then wash
  2. Alternately, take half a lemon and rub it onto your face for 15 minutes, then wash it with cold water.
For dry skin, add a teaspoon of olive oil and honey in a teaspoon of lemon.
Some points should be kept in mind while using lemon on face. Number one, don’t use lemon on any open wounds. Secondly, lemon makes your skin sensitive to sun rays, use sunscreen when going outside.


 Yogurt is not only a form of healthy food but also good for skin health. Yogurt is a traditional way to skin lightening used for ages. Applying yogurt regularly on your skin lightens moles, freckles and complexion.
Apply a layer of yogurt onto your face, leave it for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. For additional results add few drops of lemon and a tbsp of honey in it.

Aloe Vera:

Aloe Vera is very effective gift, God has blessed us with. Aloe Vera is used for skin as well as for hair and health. it is good for lightening dark spots and complexion of your skin.
Take out aloe Vera gel from its plant and directly apply to your skin. Set it for half an hour then wash it off with water. Do it daily and hope you will feel the difference.


Dairy products are always a good option for your skin. To reduce pigmentation and for fair complexion, you just go to your kitchen, take out milk in a bowl then apply it to your skin with cotton. Leave it for 20 minute and the wash.
You can add honey in milk for better results.


Tomato is also healthy for your skin. It gives you protection from sun rays and anti-aging feelings. You just take a tomato, cut it into half, and run it onto your skin for few minutes and leave for 15 minutes.
another method is by making a paste of tomato, apply a layer of that paste onto your skin. Leave It for 15 minutes and wash it with water.


Turmeric has a healing ability, it heals wounds and it is also used to get fairness and beautiful skin and it reduces pigmentation, dullness etc. In old Asian culture, turmeric was used for fairness, one day before the wedding day. It can be used it in different ways
  1. Mix Turmeric with yogurt, lemon and honey and form a paste. Apply a layer to your skin and leave it for 15 minutes, then wash the mask with water. It will give beautiful effect to your skin.
  2.  Mix it with lemon juice and cucumber juice to form a paste. Apply it onto your skin and leave it for 15 minutes then wash it off with water.


Potato has natural bleaching properties. If you have dark spots, acne and uneven skin tone. Potato Is the best choice. Peel a potato and grate it with a good grinder. Form a paste and apply a layer on your face for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, wash the mask off with water.
