I was fed up of all the beauty costs because I too spend a lot of money on cosmetics. So I started searching about how to minimize these charges, then I found that it is pretty simple. I just had to develop some habits. I started to practice them and they are very useful for me.
I am going to share 6 beauty habits that we all must adopt.

1. Daily Cleansing:

Clear looking skin is the sign of beauty. Although makeup makes you look beautiful but clear skin can enhance your beauty and may be you don’t even need makeup any more.
Everyone should cleanse their skin in the morning and the evening because your skin produces oil at night, so in the morning skin cleansing is important to remove those natural oils. And cleansing before bedtime is necessary to remove dirt and grease that your skin encounters throughout the day.
Cleansing is the most important thing to do because it enhance your beauty by removing dead skin cells from the upper layer, prevent blemishes, keeps your skin hydrated and makes you look younger.

2. Moisturize your skin:

It is very important to keep skin moisturized because our skin is prone to contact with pollution and dirt throughout the day. Increasing age and pollution leave our skin dry so it is important to maintain optimal level of moisture for healthy looking skin. It doesn’t matter what skin type you have, your skin needs moisturizer. But yes dry skin needs to get moisturizer more often than others.
And it is not true that moisturizer adds moisture to your skin, the purpose of a moisturizer is to protect your skin, helps to soften your skin and stop it from losing hydration.
It is good to moisturize skin after you bathe, cleanse, and exfoliate because moisturizer stops water in your skin and keeps it hydrated.

3. Drinking lots of water:

Drinking more water is always my first and obvious advice for numerous beauty and health issues.  Various research studies show that drinking more water not only makes you healthier but also makes you beautiful. It makes your skin look younger and glowing, removes dark circles and enhance your complexion. 8 glasses of 8oz are recommended to a woman but if you sweat more or do exercise than your body needs more water. Water is also important to lose weight.

4. Daily Hand care:

Your hands are equally important in grooming your personality. so they should be cared for equally.
  1. Moisturize your hands often.
  2. Wear gloves when doing kitchen work.
  3.  Clean your hands and nails 4 to 5 times a day but do not wash too many times because it makes your skin rough around the nails.

5. Remove your makeup before going to bed:

Makeup helps you to look beautiful but do not forget to remove it before going to bed. It is essential to remove it because your skin too needs to relax. If you sleep with makeup on, the sweat and oils produced by your skin blocks your pores that enlarge your pores. It can cause pimples and blemishes and prevent your skin from natural repairing. It may also cause allergies and eye irritation. Makeup includes lip color, mascara, eye makeup everything.

6. Proper Sleep:

Proper sleep is the powerful and natural beauty treatment. Most ladies care too much about their beauty but not take complete beauty sleep and blame remedies and beauty products.
Researches show that 6-8 hours of sleep per night can enhance your beauty because "Your skin, and your whole body, goes into repair mode when you sleep," says Day, in his book Forget the Facelift.
Pale skin, dark circles, loose skin etc. all can be caused by not taking good sleep.
Stimulants affect your sleeping schedule, so you should stop taking stimulants or decrease their quantity and try to manage your sleep and sleep timings. You will get amazing results.

  1. Ugh, you got me on hand care. My hands look horrific. They are scaly, dry and cracking open. I use a lot of hand sanitizer and combine that with the cold weather, they are definitely a mess. I need to be more faithful about putting on moisturizer. These are great tips!

  2. yeah i definitely need to take care of my hands better. they are starting to look really old. :/ i wash them way too often because i've been paranoid about getting sick, but i haven't been moisturizing every time. and i totally agree.. drinking lots of water and getting sleep goes a long way.

  3. I am the worst at this. I've actually wanted to make a checklist for daily beauty routines so that I can go through it at night and mark off what I've done. I usually forget to wash my face, and I never take care of my hands. I totally forgot!

  4. These are certainly super important tips especially going into the new year! I find that drinking a good amount of water and moisturizing are the most important out of the bunch. I can definitely plead guilty to not having enough water in one day, these are great beauty habits to keep up in the new year!

  5. Simple and to the point list. Glad to see drinking water and proper sleep in the list. I have seen many people taking care of the cosmetic things but rarely follow these two.
